Reset & reuse FoxHardware

🎯 When do I need this?

  • Functional Fox hardware is returned, canceled, or replaced and is to be installed on another tank.


πŸ” What exactly happens?

  • All data relating to the FoxHardware, such as measurements, tank configuration, and events in the customer timeline, will be deleted.

  • The Wi-Fi configuration of the FoxHardware will remain unchanged.

  • The FoxHardware will continue to take measurements and will continue to be billed


βš™οΈ How does it work?

  1. Remove FoxHardware from the tank.

  2. Perform β€œπŸ”—Device & measurement check” to check the battery level. If the battery level is low, πŸ”—replace the batteries.

  3. Search for FoxHardware ID (HWID) in FoxPortal & open detailed view.

  4. Top left wheel: β€œReset device.”

  5. Confirm dialog

  6. Mount FoxHardware on the new tank and set it up again as usual using FoxMobile (all tank configurations must be re-entered accordingly) => see: πŸ”—What can I do during installation to ensure that FoxHardware always measures correct fill levels?
